Too much CANDY!

Posted on 2 November, 2017 at 18:40 Comments comments (1)

Hello!  I hope that you had as much fun on Halloween as I did.  Our family had a perfect night running around the neighborhood with a couple of friends and scavenging candy from all the neighbors.  My little girl dressed up as "Pikachu" and paired up with another little girl from our complex.  It was so heart warming to see all the toddlers dressed up as different animals this year.  I almost felt like I was in a jungle!

I have been spending some time getting back into leatherworking lately and may post some pictures once I have a project or two under my belt (who knows...  maybe this website needs yet ANOTHER section of items for sale.  Let me know what you think!)

As is usual, I have developed a cold following the halloween fun but will hopefully be back on my feet again soon.

Best wishes to all of you out there who are now revving up for the winter holiday season.

Many blessings to you!

Back in the Saddle

Though it has been a long time since I have been able to work on my "side-businesses" I am happy to have a chance to do so now.  As you may have already noticed, there have been some changes to my website as I am streamlining my business endeavors and working to increase the quality of the work that I am providing to customers and clients.

In the next several months I am going to be working on new jewelry to post for sale online.  I will also be ramping up to start doing chair massage on a regular basis next summer at some festivals and fairs (more information on that in spring of 2018).

I would love feedback from you about what you like, or don't like, about my services, products and website.  As always, you can contact me at: [email protected] or use the webpage contact form on this site.

I wish you all a bright and peaceful autumn and winter season...

That Cozy Holiday Season

What a beautiful time to be with our families and friends!  Although our family has been having sickness on and off for the past few months we are still finding ways to enjoy life together.

My daughter and I are a bit sick right now so I am home with her.  It's funny how a think like a minor illness can be such a blessing in some ways:  It can give us time to slow down, appreciate our health, and spend more time with our loved ones.  So for all of you out there who aren't feeling great my wish is that you are surrounded and supported by those who love you.

Many blessings to you this holiday season!

Work In Progress

Wow!  Who knew (probably many of you) that building a website could be such a consuming endeavor?  I am enjoying delving into the creative process and taking a look back through the years, bringing light to some of the things that I haven't done for a while.

Much more content to come on the site!

Thanks for visiting again!

A New Beginning

Well, here it finally is! For years I have been telling friends, family, and fans that the website will be done "one of these days". I feel that here, at last, is the site that I have been working towards.

Over the years I have had many people help me towards building a site and to them I owe much gratitude: to Derek Lewis for the first iteration of my website; to Bill Richards for version 2 of my site and for some of the gorgeous photos you will find around this website; to Anthony Orpen for gifting me with my wonderful Dusty Strings harp and the enthusiasm and support for my music that prompted me to record "Celtic Angel"; to Ian Sparks for providing me with the first of a series of elegant and lovely photoshoots over the past decade; to Peter Platten for helping me navigate all the technical aspects of this current web-adventure; and most of all: to my darling daughter, Thea, who is always by my side with a sweet smile, hugs and kisses, and the joy of seeing this beautiful world through her eyes.

There are, of course, many more people to whom I owe thanks for your encouragement and support over the years. I hope that all of you enjoy seeing me finally taking the steps out into the larger digital world.

The best to you all!
